damn!

tried to convert an old (working) walkman last night to get some sound out of that swatch of sonic fabric, but just got hum. Dammit! I just don't have time to fool with this -- hopefully, some electronic genius in Toronto will bail us out.

Still plenty more sound design to prepare. Then Dan sends me an email from NYC this morning with even MORE cues to add to the scripts. Aaaarrggh!

Heard from Darren and Nadene today too, the couple who run the Deep Wireless festival and have arranged for us to fly up there and do our thing -- basically stuff about transportation, accommodations and workshops we might want to attend at next weekend's conference.

I've got to get home and pull more of this sound design together tonight -- time's a wastin'!
